James Shuda, Funeral Director

Dean Shuda, Licensed Director Email: dean@shudafuneral.com Office Phone: 715-344-2113 Fax: 715-344-2166 Born and raised in Stevens Point, Dean has been serving the community since 1985 as a licensed funeral director.   He has been active with many organizations including, Kiwanis, Stevens Point Youth Baseball, Plover Lions, St. Bronislava Grief  Ministry, American Legion Baseball, UW-Stevens Point Softball, Knights of Columbus, SPCC, PABA, and St Michael's Hospital Foundation.   Dean is a proud parent of two daughters: Kaitlin and Kelsey.  Dean is married to the former Lori Duda.

Tina Wagner, Apprentice Funeral Director Email: tina@shudafuneral.com Website: www.shudafuneral.com Office Phone: 715-344-2113 Fax: 715-344-2166 Tina is our full time Pre-Need Specialist.  She is also a funeral director apprentice and assists with all aspects of serving the community.  She is originally from Denver, CO, but has called Stevens Point her home since 1999.  She is very active in several community organizations.  Tina and her husband Jay, are proud parents of a son who attends UW-Madison and a daughter at SPASH.

He received his Bachelor’s degree in English from Wisconsin Lutheran College 2008 and then went on to attain his Mortuary Science degree from Milwaukee Area Technical College in 2010, while serving his apprenticeship at Schmidt & Bartelt funeral homes.  Wanting to leave the city and deciding to be closer with his family, he accepted a position with Shuda Funeral homes, where he finished his apprenticeship and received his license for funeral directing. His enthusiasm and commitment to serving families make him an asset to the Shuda team. He is active in the community and is a member of the Portage County Business Council's Ambassadors Club.

Ted Cayford, Director Email: sfcspwi@yahoo.com •  Born and raised in Bruce, Wisconsin (northwestern part of the state). •  Graduated from Mount Senario College – biology and the University of Minnesota – mortuary science. Licensed in funeral service since 1969. •  Married to Mary; children Barbara and Steven; four grandchildren. •  Resident of Stevens Point/Plover/Stockton since 1975. •  Retired from Sentry Insurance after nearly thirty years of service. •  Active member of St. Joseph Church.

He is married to Beth an elementary teacher. They have two sons. Nathan and Joel. Kent was a funeral director in Sparta, WI, before joining the Shuda Funeral Services.
