Erwin E. Cisewski
Erwin E. Cisewski age 72, of the Town of Hull passed away Wednesday afternoon February 17, 2010 at his home. Funeral services for Erwin will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church (Torun). Rev. Wesley Janowski will officiate. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery. Friends and family will gather to share memories from 9:30 AM on Monday until the time of services at the church.
Erwin was born May 24, 1937 in Stevens Point, the son of Phillip and Sally (Szablewski) Cisewski. He attended local schools then entered the United States Army on November 9, 1960 in Milwaukee. He was a rifle markesman and was honorably discharged December 7, 1966 at Ft. Hood, TX. He returned to the area and was married to Clara Feltz. Erwin worked for several farms in the area including Firkus and Okray Farms. He sold produce on the city square and raised up to 25 red deer on his home property.
He is survived by his four children: James Cisewski, Mosinee; Joseph (Ann) Cisewski, Amherst; Bonnie (Russell) Krayecki, Sharon; Carl (Mary Margaret Mmers) Cisewski, Stevens Point. 8 grandchildren: Joshua, Shayna, Noah Cisewski; Brianna, Rebecca, Brandan, Bethany Krayecki; Jesse Cisewski. 12 brothers and sisters: Florence (Benedict) Waldoch, Stevens Point; Patsy Filipiak, Junction City; Hedwig "Hattie" (Leo) Levandowski, Mosinee; Richard Cisewski; Kenneth (Agnes) Cisewski; Albin (Grace) Cisewski; Harry (Ann) Cisewski; Jane (Tony) Rucinski; Eugene (Karen) Cisewski; Barney Cisewski; Clarence (Jackie) Cisewski; Cathy (Kenneth) Grezenski , all of Stevens Point. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Arthur.
