Judith “Judy” Koback, 79, of Stevens Point, passed away on January 31, 2021, in Port Edwards of cancer.

There will be a visitation for Judy at Shuda Funeral Chapel, 3200 Stanley Street on Tuesday, February 9, from 1:00-3:00 p.m.

Judy was born in Stevens Point, to Arthur and Grace (Borhardt) Ceplina on April 28th, 1941. She worked as a homemaker and enjoyed walks and was always the “Energizer Bunny” to all of her friends and family. Judy loved her family and friends and enjoyed her time with them.

Judy is preceded in death by her sisters Margaret Lepak, Sandy Copeland, Patricia Smith, her parents Arthur and Grace Ceplina.

Judy is survived by her son Troy Koback (Scottie), her grand-daughter Kandis Bogdansky (Josh), great-grandchildren Kamryn, Dahmnik, and Mia Bogdansky. She is also survived by her brothers, Jack Ceplina (Marge), Robert Ceplina (Mickey), Donald Ceplina (Betsy) and her sister Mary Plummer (Bernie).

The family of Judy wants to give sincere thanks to the staff of the Oncology Department at Ascension Hospital in Stevens Point that helped her, also thanks to the staff at Marshfield Hospital that helped her, and finally Edgewater Haven in Port Edwards and the Heartland Hospice team that helped make her final days as comfortable as possible.
A special thank you to her friends and support team at Edgewater Manor that helped with everything. She loved you all so much.

Judy was a friend who always made you laugh. I will never forget the times of playing bingo and Judy kept us ladies laughing and having a good time. I never saw her without a smile on her face. Were sure going to miss her. RIP my friend.
